Lavender Wreath and Garlic Braiding Workshop

We grow lots of garlic– it is one of our main staples. To preserve the harvest and create a beautiful decor for your home, you can learn how to braid your own garlic.
This workshop will be held at the farm on Sunday July 30th, 2023 from 1 pm to 5 pm.
In this event you will:
Harvest your own garlic
Learn about different types of garlic and how we grow it
Learn how to braid garlic
Take home one of your own unique garlic braids
Socialize with friends and meet new friends
Enjoy farm refreshments like agua fresca and baked goods
What you need to bring:
A pair of gloves
Proper closed toe footwear for walking around the farm on uneven ground
A waterbottle, hat and sunscreen
NOTES:
Please leave pets at home.
Children over age 13 are welcome to join (they will need a separate ticket if they will be participiating in the workshop).
Please be aware that we will be walking around the farm on uneven surfaces, using farm tools and digging garlic which may require mobility. We will do our best to accomodate, contact us for questions.
You can purchase extra garlic braids at the workshop if you want to take home more than one.
Please purchase a separate ticket for each person attending.
