Log Cabin Quilt Class

Let me help you design your very own project using the traditional Log Cabin block. Choose the width of your strips and number of colors in each block. (the block pictured has a 2 inch square center, then 1 inch strips with 5 dark and 5 light) Sometimes the math can be intimidating, so we’ll calculate together what you’ll need to make the size project you want and create a cutting list. You are welcome to bring fabrics from your stash as fabric is not included in the $25 class fee. Most quilters will want to schedule at least 2 classes (fabric selection and math is the first class – cutting and sewing your first block together is the second) and then may want to continue weekly classes to make steady progress or complete their blocks at home. A final class to chart out the layout is recommended since there are so many designs you can make with these beautiful blocks!
