5th Anniversary of VDA’s Clean & Safe Program!

Join us as we celebrate the 5th Anniversary of VDA’s Clean & Safe Program!

Since launching during the pandemic, the Clean & Safe Program has become a vital part of downtown Vancouver—helping create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for businesses, residents, and visitors alike. Over the past five years, the program has removed more than 150,000 pounds of litter, cleaned approximately 30,000 graffiti tags, safely collected 20,000 biohazard items, and engaged over 1,000 volunteers.

To mark this milestone, we’re hosting an open house at our new Clean & Safe operations center at 11th & Broadway. Come meet the team, connect with community partners, and learn more about the work happening every day to support downtown vitality.
