Northwood’s 9th Annual Pig Roast

Northwood Public House and Brewery’s hugely popular Pig Roast is on Saturday July 20th to coincide with Battle Ground’s Harvest Days Celebration.

The Pig Roast is a great opportunity for families to add a real culinary treat to the weekend.

🔴Whole hogs are stuffed full of Italian sausage and seasoned pork loins before being roasted to perfect tenderness in classic Mediterranean style. “This is one of our best events “says Northwood owner Eric Starr. “The succulent flavor of these roasts are incredible and folks just keep coming back for more! ”

🟢Keeping with Northwood custom, Balloon Art, Face Painting and a kids Coloring Contest will be happening throughout the day.

🔵Along with the delicious food, Northwood presents live music all day and into the evening. Folk Rocker and Battle Ground local Dan Dingman performs 11:30 -1pm. Then at 2:00pm its the cool sounds of “King” Louis Pain on organ along with world-class saxophone king Renato Carante performing until 5:30 when they will be joined by Edwin Coleman on drums and the smooth R&B vocals of Sean Holmes. The Four Kings will to keep the party going through the evening.

🟠No Northwood event would be complete without something special flowing from the beer taps – all 21 of them. Northwood’s own Brewery will be releasing a fresh batch of Pig Roast Pilsner, crisply perfect for the summer heat and to wash down roasted pork.
