Needle Felting Make & Take: Moth Felting Kit

You’ve seen needle felting floating around the internet and thought “I could do that.” Spoiler: you can. In 90 minutes, you’ll go from total beginner to walking out with a finished mini felt creature you made with your own two hands.

You’ll work on 2D felting kits, which are like coloring with wool. You’re building color and texture on a flat surface, which makes it approachable, satisfying, and surprisingly meditative.

What you’ll make: A finished 2D needle felted moth, small enough to frame, prop on a shelf, or honestly just stare at because you made it and it’s adorable.

What you’ll learn:

• The basics of 2D needle felting technique
• How to layer wool for color and texture
• Enough to keep going at home on your own

Who it’s for: Absolute beginners welcome. No fiber arts experience needed. If you can hold a needle, you’re qualified.
