DuBois Park

This small neighborhood is a resident favorite now and in the 60s when it was first established. Developed by the prominent DuBois family, this little neighborhood was built with the intention of being the finest residential area of Vancouver at the time. Every single home was custom built. The neighborhood was designed with the intent to preserve as many trees as possible. This includes designating a 13 acres tract to be a nature preserve and designing the roads and burying the power and telephone lines to avoid as many trees as possible.
Originally, this neighborhood was Braewood Estate but was renamed DuBois Park to honor Robert DuBois after he passed away in 1974. The neighborhood continued to honor his dedication to make this neighborhood the finest in Vancouver and you can feel the pride of ownership with every house. So much to the point that most residents are long time owners and it's quiet rare for a house to go on sale. And when it does, it goes pending quickly!
